Our regional theater groups are world class. La Jolla Playhouse and The Old Globe Theatre have opened a dozen shows in recent years which have gone on to have highly successful Broadway runs. The beauty of living here is that you not only enjoy world class cultural venues right in La Jolla but all of San Diego´s museums, theaters and symphony are just a 20 minute drive away. One secret to our great theater in San Diego is our close proximity to Hollywood. Many of the greatest actors in the world live just a few hours to the north, and time and again, we enjoy their talent in our local productions.
